Taiamai Tours Heritage Journeys

Taiamai Tours offers interactive Maori Marae, Maori village and Waka Tours in Waitangi, Paihia and Kerikeri.

Historical events like the Treaty of Waitangi, birth of a nation and the impact of colonisation on our people, our culture and our lands, provides Taiamai Tours Heritage Journeys with an ideal platform to help you “discover Northland, the tale of the fish.”

Through our interactive experiences and interpretive story telling, we will reveal to you how our Maori world view embraces the past, present, and future preservation and sustainability of Northlands eco systems, landscapes, economic, social and cultural developments.

The Bay of Islands is home to Taiamai Tours Heritage journeys and the Ngapuhi, New Zealand’s largest tribal Maori group. This interactive Waka experience provides a rare and unique insight into Maori ancient customs, rituals and traditions.
